---Vintage---

Shortly after leaving Park City, UT (and taking another few adventures to Missouri, Portugal and Spain) I moved to Southern California. My sister and I spent the summer living with our extended family & I began working immediately for Laina Schechtman, a designer and close friend of my Aunt. I spent about a month helping out with her unique collection of redesigned vintage slips and garments. Mid-summer, I helped her throw a benefit event to sell her designs and raise money for local charities. I created hangtags and signage, catalogued the work and organized many elements for the event. I continued to assist Laina through the majority of the summer, helping to prepare her work for traveling shows.

---Ski Town---

The same week I returned from South America I moved to Park City, UT for the ski season. There I worked as an art consultant for Scanlan Art Gallery & as a ski instructor. I also kept busy with some freelance artwork and designed a snowboard that won 2nd place in a competition for Revolution Snowboards.

---Hello Blog---

I've decided to join the future and start a blog. So this is it- my real live blog, allowing people to follow my life and work.
I'll start with a quick recap of life since Rhode Island School of Design (RISD)...I graduated in May of 2008, wearing a sparkly, midriff, watermelon cap and gown to my commencement ceremony :) I packed up my life, shipped everything home to AZ and then took off to Europe with my family, to do a bike ride from Prague to Vienna.
Shortly after returning from that I went to South America for four months, with my two best friends from highschool. We lived in Ecuador for 3 months, where we spent time volunteering and traveling throughout the country. Then we spent a month traveling Peru, taking busses from the northern coast to the southern mountains. For a detailed recap of these four months visit my friend's travel blog:
