Last week I entered some of my artwork in a paddle board competition for Ever Active, through Mesh01.com.  I found out this morning that I won 2nd place in this competition!  Some of the designs I entered are posted above.  I'm still unsure about which one actually won? :)

---Is Your Hair Made of Donuts?---

Over the last few weeks I've been working on illustrations for the upcoming book "Is Your Hair Made of Donuts?" by Joy Feldman.  Joy has previously written books on maintaining a healthy diet and this is her first children's book about eating well.  Above is the preliminary illustration that will go to publishers as well as Michelle Obama.  Fingers crossed everyone likes it!

---Hi-Tec---

I recently entered a competition to design a pair of shoes for Hi-Tec, a company out of England.  They have been around for awhile and were seeking new designs to sell during the 2012 Olympics in London.  I threw together these two designs and won second place!
